Chelsea & China

September 19, 2010 - Little Chelsea and China had been dumped at the shelter.    Even as cute as they are, the shelter was overcrowded and no adoptions were coming, which meant their time would be up.

Rhonda, with Sheltered Hearts Animal Rescue, took the cuties and found a foster home until a permanent solution could be found.   Answer:   Home at Last Dog Rescue in Philadelphia.    Applications were already submitted for their adoptions.   The last puzzle piece was getting the darlings from North Carolina to Philly.    Answer:    Pilots N Paws

Chelsea and China had a great temporary foster home with Jackie
Jackie brought the beauties to Person County Airport in Roxboro, NC Sunday morning for their flight to new homes
Team Mutt Muffs John and Michele meet our passengers.   It's hard to believe these little lives were in danger of being put down.   God bless the rescue workers
Rhonda and husband Phil say goodbye to the two little sisters.   Their work is done for these two.

This rescue almost fell apart.   Leg 2 pilot Elliott signed on at the last minute to fly the anchor leg to Philly.

These are two beautiful puppies.   I know wonderful families await them.
