Bootsy and Uno

Uno was picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter all alone, hence the "Uno". Susan was his saving angel.
Bootsie was rescued from an abusive situation. He came to us with a broken femur and although he was in alot of pain, his spirit was never broken and he healed wonderfully in foster care with Katherine :)

Air Mutt Muffs flew this now familiar route to KTDF to pick up Bootsy and Uno. |

We had a beautiful flight along the Appalacians. Co-pilot John tends to the pups during the short layover at KDMW. It's heartbreaking to think of poor Bootsy with a broken leg. God bless the rescue folks for taking care of this little boy. |

Bootsy and Uno are loaded up in Sue's plane and ready for the final leg of their journey. Uno couldn't resist making a fashion statement. |

The fur balls are finally home. The FBO at LOM was kind enough to give people and doggies a ride to the terminal since the ramp in front was closed and the asphalt was hot.
May their foster stays be short and their futures bright.
