We start with our regular ABS plastic gray shells and treat them to a special prep procedure. They are thoroughly cleaned, sanded and cleaned again with a special cleaner to remove any residual sanding dust, oils and any other contaminants that would be detrimental to obtaining a flawless finish. The shells are then coated with a primer made especially for plastic. After the primer has dried, we apply three coats of Krylon Fusion paint, made especially to produce a long-lasting, lustrous, and beautiful finish.
