Sweet Lily was going to be euthanized for space at an NC shelter, but the staff really loved this sweet girl and so they asked a  wonderful partner rescue in Buffalo NY, Buffalo Cares to take her. Time was of the essence and transport help was the only thing standing in the way.. So Crisis Dogs of the Carolinas helped coordinate a ride with Pilots for Paws volunteers, John and Tony, to act fast and get her to safety where she is thriving and loved in her current foster home

Sweet little Lily waiting at the airport for her flight.   It's like she knows how important it is for her future.
A fuel stop near Pittsburgh gave Lily just enough time for all the airport personnel to fall in love with her.
It was a long day for John & Tony.  But Lily is worth it.   Everyone arrives safely at Lake View, NY (just south of Buffalo)

It was a long day for Lily too, but this day was a turning point.  All the uncertainty is gone.  She now has a chance at a home and family of her own.

Good night Lily!  Sweet dreams
